Lomo Turquoise in Los Angeles

I took Lomo Turquoise to the brightest city I know, Los Angeles. I think the only way these Lomo novelty films look decent is if you blast them with light. I shot the film at box speed in the middle of the day and 1/250 just to really let the film work its magic.

It is so much easier to get the light shifts when there is a ton of light.

It looks terrible in low light.

You really have to give this film as much light as possible. The biggest problem with this film is that when it hits, it looks really, really good. Here are my favorite shots of LA on Lomochrome Turquoise:
